Security cameras that do more than record.
Recording an intruder is useful. Giving them a reason to reconsider before getting any further is better. SCKA installs Dahua TiOC Pro security-camera systems with active-deterrence technology for residential and light-commercial properties across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
8MP surveillance.
Dahua TiOC Pro cameras deliver 8MP high-resolution surveillance — clear, detailed footage across day and night conditions. Image quality matters, but it's the starting point, not the whole story. We don't make unsupported identification guarantees; we design coverage around the way your property is actually approached.
Red & blue warning lights.
Conventional CCTV records an incident. SCKA's exterior layer is designed to combine surveillance with visible active deterrence. TiOC Pro cameras feature red and blue flashing warning lights — a highly visible exterior response designed to tell someone they've been seen while they're still outside.
Audible sirens.
When appropriately configured, TiOC Pro cameras can also sound an audible siren — an additional warning response alongside the visual deterrent. The combination of light and sound is designed to deter, not only to record.
180° panoramic coverage.
Some areas benefit from wider coverage than a single fixed camera can provide — open frontages, wide driveways, rear yards. Where the property calls for it, SCKA can incorporate an 8MP Dahua 180-degree panoramic camera to cover the wider field of view from a single position.
Camera placement matters.
The best camera installed in the wrong position is still the wrong solution. SCKA considers each camera's role within the complete system:
Approach angles
Cameras aligned to the routes a person would actually take toward the property.
Camera height
Mounted high enough to be out of reach, low enough to keep a useful face angle.
Lighting
Day and night conditions considered so coverage holds after dark.
Field of view
Each camera framed to cover the area that matters, not the wall beside it.
Potential blind spots
Overlaps and secondary cameras placed where a single view can't reach.
Entry points
Doors and access points covered before they're reached, not after.
Vehicle areas
Driveways and car spaces monitored for vehicle activity at the frontage.
Side & rear access
Hidden approach routes covered so the boundary isn't the weak point.
Overlapping coverage
Each camera contributes to the complete system, not a standalone view.
Recording & expansion.
SCKA systems can include an 8-channel Dahua NVR with 4TB storage — central recording on the property, with capacity for compatible future camera additions where system capacity permits. Footage records locally and is accessible through the app for live viewing and playback.

CCTV is the first layer.
Exterior cameras are powerful, but they're only one layer. Pairing CCTV with Dahua AirShield can create another security layer if someone moves beyond the exterior perimeter — so the system responds inside as well as recording outside.
